I am sure you have noticed the website looks a bit different. This is my own design that I created and because of that, I have much more control over how everything is. The previous look was an edited template design. It figured it was time to change mine to a personal design since I am going to be doing 2 more websites in the very near future. Once they are completed, I will post links to where you can see them!

Global Game Jam, Teaching

Just finishing up the weeked of Global Game Jam. We had 2 teams at Algoma University and both are nearing complettion of their games. I am also doing some more traveling with Sault College and I am now a part of the faculty at Algoma University with the Computer Science Department.

I have had less time to work on personal project but this weekend I got some more completed with my Sketchup models, including the large interior office I am working on. Hopefully it can be uploaded soon to the gallery section.

New job, more updates

Started a new job this week. I am working with Algoma University and I am the new Coordinator and Marketing Officer of the Masters program.

I finished the Facebook application for Miramar and the Innovation Center, however the app is password protected, so I can’t really post the link to it! However, I will grab some screen shots of it and put it up soon!

I am still working on the AUBS website and that should be live in a few weeks. I will post some pictures or some previews of the website when I am a bit closer to a final product!

Chamfered Technology

I am a recent Masters graduate with my MSc in Computer Games Technology and a new media and technology consultant. Currently, I am the founder and owner of Chamfered Technology, teacher at the local College (Sault College), and Coordinator and Marketing Officer at Algoma University. I am also currently developing a website for AUBS which will be going live within a few weeks. I recently just finished a contract working with SSMIC and Miramar on a Facebook Application.

I have experience in graphic design and programming and I am trying to bridge the gap between artists and programmers. I have a keen interest in gaming, specifically mobile gaming and I am currently trying to help build a gaming cluster by developing mobile games with the current Master Students at Algoma University.

Prior to starting up Chamfered Technology, I traveled to Scotland with four Algoma University undergraduates to compete in a Gaming Competition called Dare to be Digital. Our team, Log2n, won an award for most innovative and creative game. Our game, Flux, created a gesture based game where music decided the gameplay. I had a dual role on the team, being graphic artist and programmer.
