Research is aimed at developing ways children can use video games as a tool instead of a means of entertainment. Educational games are being researched as an additional tool to teachers and not as a teacher replacement. It has been shown that children are more engaged when playing games and also show higher motivation levels when having a chance to perform a task on a gaming device. I am working with local elementary schools in order to develop the appropriate curriculum for students. To find out more about my research, please read the articles that I have written here.
